Creating Memories of Joy that Last a Lifetime…

Help your child master Kindergarten!

Leaving your child in school for the first time is very hard, specially if she has always been home with you. “How will she cope away from you all day?” Being worried is normal, it’s parenting, however, there are things you can do to smooth out the process both for you and your child.

DANCE LESSONS is one of them! Introducing dance lessons to your daughter before entering to school, will allow her to experience an activity away from mom and introduce her to a new environment in which she will feel safe little by little.

In Furia Flamenca we understand the importance of this transition and this is why we have created our Pepa and Lola class for pre-schoolers to develop the necessary tools to enter confidently to their first day of school.

Balance and consistency are key to success! Begin with a 45 min weekly “mommy and me class” for example, then transition to a longer class in which your daughter can dance without you. Once you have done this, it is very important to continue the routine when entering to school to provide

that sense of stability and predictability in their lives that kids need when making big changes like this.

I can asure you that dance will prepare her to give you a big smile on the big day and save YOU some tears on the way!

Ole!
