At this stage, students gain a better sense of understanding of what they are capable of with their body movements and the fact that they have a pink bracelet, noisy shoes, and a vigorous skirt take the fun to another level. During this two year program, students get to work on four different modules that focus on spatial awareness, body posture and explore the basics of arm work and footwork necessary to develop the characteristic “zapateado”! Students end the program creating sequences of movement and even learning how to bow and how to clap for other dancers.
